I have been planning to go into Childcare because it seems there will be plenty of jobs in that area in the near future. I can't afford to take too long to train, so it needs to be a sector I can get into with a TAFE course.

What do you think are the sectors with the most opportunity?

I guess the title says it all. There are things that I am trained for (in my case broadcast journalism), that don't pay much. I want to like (and even love) my job, but I also want to live and make some money. What do you all do for a living, and how do you like it? In retrospect, would you rather be happy at your job, or make a decent living? (Please assume that those two things are mutually exclusive, as it seems that very few people love their job and make good cash at it). Thanks!

I have over 15 years of experience in marketing. One industry that I was never involved with was real estate. I want to get started and learn and eventually become a real estate sales person. Are there options where I have to do it on my own or should I sign up to join a real estate group? Where and how do I start?

This was a one page story and it told about how a guy with poor spelling was hired to sell. The gave him the worse accounts. He wrote weekly reports in the worst grammer about all the product he was sellling and new business he was getting. It's point was to show that even with poor spelling a person can succeed and be valuable in the workplace. I had a boss 30 years ago that kept it on the wall. I was a poor speller but the #1 sales guy in the parts store so it ment a lot to me. I would like to give a copy to my son with Dyslexia. He ws berated for his spelling by his drivers ed teacher today and is bummed

I work for a company that was bought out. The new company only hires a certain "Race" of people. (The proof is in the employee.) I feel that some applicants have been descriminated against. I am affraid that my job will eventually be eliminated because I am not of this races and do not speak the language. But what proof do I have?

Im interested in becoming a lawyer because I really think I would enjoy it because I love debating people and I love proving people to be wrong. So I was wondering if I could major in finance and also go on to law school because if I decide to change my mind about law school I would still like to be able to fall back on a major that can get me a good job.
