Your best bet is go on a cruise and find out for yourself. I done many cruise's and from my observation these people work very hard. They work long hours with little or no time off. They work for 6 about months and given a few months off from the ship.
If there work performance is good they will be hired back.

This is what I have gathered by taking to the crew on these ships.

It depends what you end up doing - your best bet (if you can take it) is to end up working at the day care center, because the hours are better and the job is easier than many others.

Pay is low, tips are what make it worthwhile, and you will live in a room that is not much bigger than a shoebox - really, I think the room is 6' X 6', smaller than a prison cell (which is 10x10, in case you were wondering).

i think the employees work a certain number of months, say 9 months straight on one cruise then get 3 or 4 months off.
