I had two interviews last week and both went well. I am hoping one will offer me a job, however in the interviews neither of the employers asked whether i had any holidays booked and i failed to tell them that i have a 2week holiday booked for the 30th. If they call me and offer me the job and then tell them about the holiday will this jeopardise anything? Also i am getting married on the 2week holiday??? ...................

Or Qs of that kind. How do you respond? I usually say I am a workholic. What would happen if you said you were lazy and incompetent?

I`ve handed my notice of resignation and am contracted to work a period of 12 weeks notice. My employer has told me to leave right away. Are they required by law to pay me my full 12 weeks as it is they who want me to go.

I attend Sam Houston State Univerysity in Texas. It's probably not well known outside of Texas. I'm on my way to earning a Masters Degree in Accounting and I was wondering if it's harder to get a job at a company because I went to a smaller university, as opposed to a Texas A&M or a Texas Tech caliber school?

Or is the degree what is important regardless of the University I attended?

I just started my frist year of high school and I started to think- what am I going to do with my career after this? I'm split between what I love to do, and what I like, but it may be kind of difficult.
I love theater, and I'd love to be an actress, but I know so few people actually make it big in that career. I'd also love to sing and everyone says I have a great singing voice, but so few make it in that career as well. Video Game desing was something I always thought would be fun...but it would be so hard....and it's supposed to be very competetive.
Anyone have any good advice on choosing a career? I love all three, but I'm afraid I woun't know what to do in time to choose what to major in in college.

When you go to get your working papers do you have to have a doctor sign something? I have heard he has to sign off to you working but I find that a little weird when you are working in fast food.

I have no motivation to go into work. I work in a warehouse. The pay is great, but I hate it about 50% of the time. Has anyone ever quit a higher paying job to go to a lower paying job and regretted it? Thanks for the input.

I have what it takes, and everyone that knows me know that I have what it takes to become great and successful on whatever I want to become. The problem is, I'm torn between 3 things. Law, Medicine, or Education. Education, it sounds like a fun job to be a teacher. Taken the fact that I'm in school, a teacher's job seems easy and perfect.

I'm expected to go to law school. It seems like a great job. I don't mind going to school and climbing the ranks, but does it make enough money? This is my number one choice. I am intrigued in all the legal stuff. It sticks in my head. I love how the whole legal thing works.

Medicine, I want to be a surgeon or a doctor. THe only thing that seems wrong with it, is the fact that it's not law. Other than that, I like the idea. Also, the only part if Science that I'm interested in is human anatomy and psychology. I hate the whole biology and earth science.

What do you think is the wisest decision? The most stable prospect? Big pay??
