I had two interviews last week and both went well. I am hoping one will offer me a job, however in the interviews neither of the employers asked whether i had any holidays booked and i failed to tell them that i have a 2week holiday booked for the 30th. If they call me and offer me the job and then tell them about the holiday will this jeopardise anything? Also i am getting married on the 2week holiday??? ...................

I would say worry about getting the job offer before you worry about complicating it. Once you get the offer, advise them of your plans so they can then back out of the offer if that won't work for their scheduling. If they won't reschedule your start date and you cannot reschedule your plans then it wasn't meant to be.

For most jobs, employers will be expecting to wait at least a month for a new employee to start because many applicants will already be in a job where they need to give notice - so if they call and offer you the job, just tell them that you'll be available to start from x-date when you return from your honeymoon.

If you've not heard from them a few days before you're due to go away, make sure you call them and explain that you're about to go on your honeymoon, you're back on x-date, and that you can be contacted by...

I hope it goes well - both the honeymoon and the job offer!

Jeena,
It all depends how did the interview go and going by what you say, I can tell you if you are the right fit the employer will not mind waiting for a couple of weeks before they hire you.You can also leave a message with your employer that you will be on vaccation, they should not minf about it.
Good Luck !!

Most employers will give a second interview, it would be a good idea to mention your plans at this point. Give them a 'start date' and be sure they understand you can't start before that.
Yes, you could jeopardize your job by not starting when they want you to, but if you have the knowledge and experience that they want, then I'd think you'd be fairly safe with sticking with your plans. A lot of employers will be forgiving when it comes to things like that.

It shouldn't hurt your chances. If you think they might call while you're gone, call them at least a week ahead of time or drop them a note, and tell them you'll be on holiday from ____- _____ and hope to hear from them before that.

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage, and good luck with the jobs.
