It does seem that company's prefer to hire those with at least an under graduate degree. Why is what I haven't figured out. But, that's my problem.

A bachelor's will give you a few things. The first is the opportunity to have your resume looked at. Without it, most will trashcan the resume. Once you've gotten their attention, it just might land you the job if you have the skills or potential for that particular job. Next, a bachelors will give you the chance to get the glorified MBA. You can't get one of those without first achieving an under graduate degree. The MBA is really where the power is. With an MBA you are most likely to be viewed as a business wizard. Regardless of your actual capability, the MBA absolve you of all sins and makes you a potential successor to whom ever in the company is above you.

Actually it does not matter unless you want specialization. A bachelor degree is a good element to getting you that great job, I know guys who did a science major but are now specializing in HR after doing masters in BA and post graduate in HRM. I think all that matters is your back up certificates and how well you contact yourself during the interview

Where I work the biggest moron in the world can make important decisions because he has a degree. People with experience and common sense are treated like pieces of crap. Get a degree and be one of the morons instead of a piece of crap
