I'm a CSM at walmart and that is rediculous. You really think the biggest retail company in the world would get away with paying minimum wage? Think about it. At the store i work @ you start anywhere between $6-$7 an hour.

I'm not sure, but I do know that they are a horrible employer when it comes to treatment of employees and benefits. Studies show that when a Wal-Mart moves into a community, the hospitals immediately get busier and more into debt because the workers of small businesses that get pushed out by Wal-Mart have to then work at Wal-Mart, where they get no benefits. The employees can't pay the hospital, so that raises the taxes in the community. Those low prices just wind up coming out of your local taxes eventually.

Yes they do. My mum is the manager.

By the way tell you some jokes:

-Doctor! I have a serious problem, I can never remember what i just said.
-When did you first notice this problem?
-What problem?

One more joke:

A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.

Last of all just want to tell you that whatever you do, just don't give up. Also you must love and care for the people around you. In that way they will also show you the love that you show to them. Just be yourself and happy everyday. Wish you all the best and good luck!! c

Actually the minimum wage in the US is $5.15 per hour. At my local Wal-Mart hourly employees start off at $6.50 - $8.10 per hour.

No they don't start everyone at minimum wage but I wouldn't expect the pay to be spectacular.
