When asked, simply state you are looking for advancement opportunities with more responsibility. Or if you are looking for more money, state you are looking for a position with adequate pay commensurate with experience.

However, NEVER, dog your current employer to a future or potential employer. Just does not look good by any means.

There is alway room for improving and growing make sure if that job being offered is equal or better than what you have and if its something you want to do great but if you are very suck and not sure what to do all i can say is there is alot of people looking for jobs so if worse comes over thank the person making the offer and say sorry for wasting there time as they could of picked someone who really needs the position

I would let precpective employers know that you are looking to advance your career. It depends on what line of work you are in. You could say you are looking to make more money, there is no room for advancement, or use location as a way out. You could say you need something closer to home or you are looking to relocate in the future.

Every company wants to think positively.
So what you should do is tell them that you can see a future being in their company. You have to suck up a little and tell them how you see yourself in the company, maturing and growing together with the company.
Remember, always focus on their company and how it gives you a doorway to success. Even if they ask about why youre thinking of leaving your current job, always put the focus on the merits of their company.

I am sure you have some reason for switching jobs. If you want to just try a different field, maybe that's what you should say..
