i'm trying to apply for a job at a border's subsidiary (a branching company) and it's asking for a work certificate since i'm under 18?
Help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, you need a permit to work if you are below the age at which you would normally graduate from high school. This is because employers are not supposed to lure kids away from high school with promises of a paycheck. Didn't the manager tell you where you apply for that? He should have.

If you're still in high school your counselor might have the information you need. If you're out of school, I'm sure if you call the counseling office at your old high school they'll try to help you.

Did you finish high school? Did you work before? If you don't have any work experiences, you must tell them that it will be your firt work experience and explain to them why would they hire you to work with them.
