no, vision is not normally part of medical coverage, and you need to find out what level of medical it is, medical plans and the amount you have to pay varies greatly.
Normally if they have vision insurance it will be listed as "vision"
But on the medical, what is the deductable, the co pay, is drug coverage also included. How much do you have to pay for your coverage, is family plans avaialbe if so, how much.
a health plan is not really that good ifyou have to pay 900 a month for it.

Usually it depends on the medical plan offered by your organization, however, most places charge an additional cost for vision care.

Vision care is usually not included in medical and this coverage is sold seperately. If they don't say Vision Care it probably is not included by you would have to ask to be sure.

It depends. If you know what your medical plan is, you can google it or ask your HR person if it's included.
For me, there's a co-pay for vision and I have a pretty good med plan--not free or cheap, but I did save a lot.

If it doesn't state that vision is insured, then it surely isn't. Medically necessary surgeries and such would be, though.

The only way to know is to ask - don't assume - since you didn't provide any information about what employer, it's hard to say.
