Give one example of being in a certain type of situation and how did you handle it (depends on what type of job you are going for)

Most places will ask you about your qualifications and background, your strengths and weaknesses, and why you are interested in that particular company.
Often, at the end of the interview they will ask if you have any questions for them. When I was involved in hiring, this was one of the deciding questions for me. If someone asked thoughtful questions that made it obvious they had done their research on the position, it really impressed me. Take some time before the interview and think of a couple things you would like to know about the job or the company. It can really make a difference!

Some people are cool and ask you things related to the job, like why you want to work there and what skills you have to be able to do the job. Other people are dumb and have standardized questions like what are your strengths and weaknesses. If they ask you how long you plan to be with the company... LIE. They want to hear that you plan on having a carreer helping them grow... not the truth that you really just need to make money. Whatever the job is, let them know how you can help them and also how you look forward to growing with their company.

You can be really clever in a job interview when the interviewer asks
"What would you say is your greatest faults" - they always throw a trick question in there. Answer with this or something like it....a positive spin...
"I sometimes have a hard time delegating work" or "I find it hard to leave work"

Depends on the type of job. Be more specific on the profession you are trying to enter. Do your homework on the industry and employer. Whatever you do, be confident in your skills and abilities and keep it positive.

two of the most telling questions I have been asked were "so why should we hire you?" and "What do you know about our company?"
Mostly the better interviewers ask what I liked and disliked about past employment.

Most important is your job history- it usually speaks for itself. I always ask what their biggest asset and worst flaw is.
