this is the ME generation. bosses don't need to worry about anything other than their fat paychecks, fat bonuses, fat attitudes, and fat waistlines, in spite of the fact that they're making it all off of your hard working skinny *ss.

of course, but not many would improve work performance if they were treated with dignity. coming from an assistant manager, i would try to be the different one and be nice to everyone telling them what a good job they did and respect them. that didnt last long. people would start to slack and take advantage of my "niceness" i think some people take it too far, like today, my boss called someone a retarded dope. i thought that was really ridiculous and their are different ways to tell someone they are doing wrong other than calling them names. sorry i guess i have a lot to say. lol

If that is the culture and you don't like it, why don't you change it? Get your co-workers to buy in, and start a wave of positive change - support each other, if a boss calls you a name, have everyone turn and look at that boss and comment that it is rude. You would be surprised how quickly you can change a company from the inside.

Yes ofcourse, if you're being treated badly at work you need to come face to face with your boss or supervisor or even consider looking for another job. No one deserves to be treated like that for any reason.

Well of course it would. If I worked with you I'm sure I'd treat you better than those people do.

I treat people with the same respect they treat me with.
We can either get along or we can all be some fightin' SOB's.
I hate it when somebody treats me like crap for no good reason, so I dont take it.
