She has a monthly interest that pays her rent, food, etc. so she doesn't need any money.

She has a luxury car, and she spends plenty of $$ on designer clothes but she is not super rich.

We used to work together but she has recently quit. She is having trouble finding a job she wants to do (I guess she thinks why put up w/ **** from boss, etc. if you don't have to).

She's a really nice girl & does charity work often. Also, she has a BA in history but I don't think she is into that anymore.

If I was in her position I'd quit my job too, but I don't know what I would do. Travel, shop, give to charity I guess.

What would you do?

We are hiring a nanny and need to make sure the info she gave us is real and that she does not have a criminal history. There are a ton of online services, but I'm not sure if any of them actually do a good job or not.

The sticky situation is when you quit your job, your income stop coming, at start up business, you don't know if the money would come. Should you just go for it and have some faith in it; who knows the money would be great?

I will be taking a test in a few weeks to gain state certification for a job. I am not good at taking standardized testing so I have a question. What do you do when you are taking a standardized test and you come across a word that you do not know the meaning of. How do you figure out what the word means?

When me and my friend were 19 we worked at a hamburger place. One day our boss, the manager of the place, was in a bad mood because his boss told him off, and he fired us for NO reason. We are now 24, and both of us finished college a while ago. My friend got a job supervising all restaurants of a pizza place franchise. He was so surprised when he found out at one restaurant the manager was our old boss, but now, my friend is his boss. And we both hate him a lot 'coz we got fired for no reason, and we both remember what a hard time we had with money that time before he got another job. We needed a job to pay for college back then.

My friend can fire him, should he???

OK, here's the deal. I went to a very good (yes, Ivy League) university & was pursuing a graduate degree. The thing is, I just hated it & I wasn't happy at all & I was so bored. I gained a lot of weight also during this time.

So, recently I have lost the weight & for the first time in a long time I feel really great. I adore clothes & anything artistic really & I would love to be a model of some kind (print, catalog, not runway because I'm far too old obviously!). I also love to travel so I would like a career that doesn't hold me to one spot.

Money wise, I own my home, car, and I don't have any bills to pay. I am by no means rich but I don't really have to work. Am I crazy for pursuing this dream?

My boyfriend is a bit of a snob & thinks someone w/ my education should do something more intellectual, but I've done that, and I had no passion for it. So...

What do you think? thank you!

I really want to quit my job. The poroblem is that my boss is super-influential and could screw up my career permanently, especially since I intend to stay in the same geogrpahic area for at least the next several years. How do I get out without losing my reputation? I should mention that she's a real b**ch.

I’m working as mortgage loan officer assistant while simultaneously am working to become a loan officer myself. Appearance is everything in this business. And because appearance is everything in this business do you guys/girls believe that with me running around in a Yaris I would look silly? They are rather small cars I mean…but I would like get good MPG given that I will be traveling all around Los Angeles County and I need good MPG given the high gas prices.

Any comments. If I were the guy doing your loan how would you react to your loan officer driving a Yaris given considering that he is young?

Hi there…
I have a problem with my boss; he keeps telling me that in order to take 1 sick day I have to get him a written medical excuse in order to get the benefit. But when his buddies got hangover they CAN take the sick day. Last time a got the flu, I work in (food service) I COULDN'T get the day paid, they don’t offer insurance and I don’t have money to pay a $150 medical consult so the Dr. can tell me to take some Nyquil.
What can I do?
