I just applied online to Raleys and Safeway. Whats the best way to go???Wait or dress up nice and neat and go there to follow up on my application???And when i do get there how do i find the hiring manager and what do i say???

Call the store and ask to speak with the manager. Explain that you submitted an application on August 20th and would like to come in for an interview. Agree on a a set time and ask where you should go to at your interview time.

try to get an office job...apply on monster or craigslist. you double up your chances of getting employed if you post your resume online and getting inquired about then you inquring people for a job.
if you don't have any experience just say that you are attending a community college (they seldom check this but will give you the benefit of the doubt)

Ask to inquire about their status in reviewing the applications. Can they give you a timeframe of when they are making the decisions on interviewing the possible candidates.

Yes go there in person and politely ask to speak with the store manager because "I am seaching for employment". etc. and stand up straight and have confidence.
