Did you end up doing what you learnt there or did you feeling like a stocking filler to keep the numbers up?

I am having a baby and I still need to earn an income until the baby is old enough to attend school. Also, can you give me a quick run down of what kind of training a medical transcriber needs. I have been working at Old Navy for about two weeeks now, but in three weeks I have to leave for school. It would be easier if I had told them in the beginning that I was moving, but I didn't. Do I give them a two weeks notice? Or do I just quit the last day I want to work? Help!

I am due to leave the Navy after 9 years next May and I am fearful of not getting a job where I wont struggle. I am an Electronics Technician and worked on submarines, but I was in reality a communications equipment operator/technician. I have a high level security clearance also. However, when I have looked around for available jobs, they all are looking for someone very specific involved in a very specific job with years of experience. I am trainable, hard working and even currently working toward a degree but I do not know how well an employer would think I have potential for a good job. I dont even know where to look exactly. Anyone with previous experience or any thoughts that might help please respond.

When I worked at KMart, I had to ask every customer for their zip code. alot of them would get mean & rude & ask why I need it, Like I can get their personal info just from typing in a freakin' zip code! they also get mad if something doesn't ring up on sale that was advertised on sale, like I can help it. We're just doing our job people! lighten up!

I have a good job, a good position from a big company in the world, not to mention it. But the problem is, the policies inside that office not the company, they are (no private calls, no break time "9am-7pm and if you want to eat, just eat on your table while doing your job", you need to do extra job which is not inline with your duty, you need to clean the office after work and the boss is so very conservative and strict, he talk like a lion in my side...
Guys, I dont know what to do...all I know is, I have the qualification to do the position and skills to do my job...

Yesterday a bank called me to schedule an interview. I want this job very bad because it is exactly what I want to do. I have a couple issues that are probably going to come up during our talk. For instance, I earned my degree 3 1/2 years ago and I only have five months of experience in my field. This gap looks really bad, but I put forth a diligent effort to try to find a job. Secondly, I was fired from my last job because they said that I did not seem interested in my job and I came late to ONE meeting, ONE time. I really want to do a great job in this interview and land it. If you could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Okay a company has given you three options for submitting your resume, mail, fax or email. What would be the preferred way of submitting your resume. Do companies have a preference?
