I have 2 job offers... 1 is with Panera Bread, the other is with a really cool Irish pub... Panera already made an offer (which I took), but I know I will get an offer from the pub next week (which I did not know when I accepted Panera's offer)... I'm probably going to keep my word and stay with Panera, but honestly I don't know... What would you do?

I am going to be quitting my job within the next couple of months. What would be a great "professional" way to tell them to kiss my *** and let them know how horrible it has been working here?

I got this job as an admission advisor at an online university(Colorado techincal university). The pay is great and so is the benefits. However, its kinda frustrating when i ask question about working there. My cousin who works there wont say how her day usually is there and what the enviroment is like. I sparked up a conversation with a guy who had been there for 7 months about it and he changed the subject. Another trainee said that his friends that have worked there for like 6 months wont tell him either. When we talk with the trainer we ask questions about the enviroment and the procedures with clients and she just give a vague happy go lucky answer. I had a bad experience with being half *** trained before.

I just got a job offer the other day and accepted it. I will be working at corporate headquarters. They're sending me a new hire kit tomorrow. I'm curious to know what is typically included in a new hire kit. What types of paperwork did you have to fill out?

So I have a meeting w/my boss to tell him I am leaving because I feel useless at the office. He gives me a job to work on for days, which only takes me half the time to finish. He tells me to get off the job I am working on becasue its not approved yet but it takes him another 2 days to give me something different. He knows that I can be more productive but his not able to manage the workload well and neither does anyone in the office. Then today he puts me back on the job he said was not approved yet. What the hell is going on? I work in an architectural field and its getting on my nerves. He said things would change and we are going through some exciting times. Is he bullshit@@ng me? But why keep me if I am not being that productive most of the time?

If I agree to transfer to our London West End branch, my bank won't make me redundant. A guy that works there told me they have sushi for lunch and 'wagganoodles?' We have a scotch egg and a pint down here. It's also near Soho, I hear. I'm quite sophisticated and dtreet wise, just nervous. What do you think of the move?

One in the bush (that's the negative for her, remote, lonely, already done it) where she knows people (+) and it'll be a stable job (+)

or

One in a beautiful tourist town (+) that's her dream town (+) but it's not certain if its a stable position (negative) and she needs to work at the same job for a while (big negative).

Which one?

When there is a deadline for sending in a resume, do you stand a better chance of being noticed/remembered by sending the resume in as soon as possible, a bit before the deadline or right near the deadline? Setting aside who is best qualified for the job, I heard you stand a better chance of being noticed if you send in the resume closer to the deadline. Don't know if others heard the same. Just wanted to read others' opinions/experiences.
