I just got a job offer the other day and accepted it. I will be working at corporate headquarters. They're sending me a new hire kit tomorrow. I'm curious to know what is typically included in a new hire kit. What types of paperwork did you have to fill out?

Form a payroll stand point the will need a W4, I9 (to prove your legal to work in the US), poss a W5 & some states have a form for the state as to when your hired and currect address it's to help states collect past child support if owed.
You may also get an employee handbook that you'll have to sign that you received and reviewed it. And other company info. Poss Health insurance info if it's offered.

Generally you will get the usual w-4 forms and any other IRS ones to delegate how much taxes will be deducted and such. Also, when I got my job, I got information on health care, stock option accounts and retirement plan forms. All the employee benefit information.

Probably some business ethics papers to sign, tax forms for your W-2, maybe some benefits papers if benefits are included, and possibly one with super fine print signing your soul to the devil, so be careful!
