I assume that you have already mailed them your resume. If that is the case,the only way that they will seriously consider you for a position out of state ,would be to show the initiative and show up in person at the interview.
If you cannot show up at the interview ,they will probably will hire someone who does show up at the interview . That is just a cold hard fact reality.

in case you haven't any longer heard from them in 2 months, then I heavily doubt they'll hire you. you should've e-mailed or referred to as them returned after a week or 2 to get some comments.
