I just can't believe why people still refuse to try a program who can earn them a very good internet income with no risk. I'm the one who take the risk because I pay for them to join, and they don't have to pay a penny to start a program, but how come a lot of them have no interest at all.

I have been offered a job with a start-up that provides me with alot of time flexibility, which I need because I have twin babies, and pays somewhat more than my current job. My current job counter-offered with some more money (though not the same) and an opportunity to reduce my hours and have better flexibility. The reduction in hours reduces the pay, but they did the best they could to counter, including getting me a hefty retention bonus if I will stay. In my current position, I work with very cool, very smart people who I respect and enjoy being around. I also work on cool projects, though what I do isn't always fun. At the start up, these are mostly unknowns- though I know it's a younger, more 'hot shot' kind of atmosphere. The technology isn't as exciting as my current job, but I suspect it will be challenging at least for a while as they are getting off the ground. I'm so torn that I'm asking the yahoo 'ether' for advice. My friends are split and my husband is good with either.

Also, are there temp agencies that people should avoid? Does the employer pay you or the temp agency? How does it work?

I interviewed for two jobs and I am waiting for the call. he said he would call this week. If he does not can I still call and see what happened. Also, The other job said they would tell me before the 18th of August and I interviewed last Monday. Is that a long time? The job was not posted so there are no dates or anything like that. Now what if the first job calls and I really want job number 2 can I call and check whats the status on their decision? Or no?

Why are we forced to pay thousands of dollars for schooling? It doesn't make any sense. All it does is make it harder for low and middle class people to go through schooling and get nice paying jobs. This is my idea:
Eliminate colleges completely. A person goes to an interview for the job they want. The employer gives them a simple questionnaire (name, nationality, etc), coupled with a test on basic skills required for the job. If the employer wants, they could also do an in-person interview. People who perform at a certain level or higher would be put through a free class given by the company. At the end of the classes, the job-hopefuls would be given a test. People who scored good enough would be accepted and given the job.
Various tweaks could be made to this theory without ruining the concept...
So what do you think? What would you change about my idea? Constructive criticism accepted.

I have a job where I have all backstabbing co-workers and a boss from the pits of hell. My boss is a very butchy lesbian woman. ( I hate to use this term but....). I am a gay male. She shows obvious favoritism in the office and if you have huge boobs the more she likes you. She treats her employee like they are all thiefs trying to rip-off the company. My co-workers all backstabb each other to look good in her eyes and be in her "favorites" group. No one in HR has done anything, moral is non-existant. People calling in sick has become an everyday thing. Her bosses overlook her behavior. Jobs are scarce and I have enouhg money saved to walk out until I find another job. I hate coming to work. I want to walk out.

I've tried out for the job many times and it's always at the 3rd round, water confidence test & kabaya fitting, that I get knocked out of the round. The last time I made it that far, all the interviewer did was check my face then I was out. It was the first time it happened as usually I pass that check.

I don't understand, I aced the group interview & one to one interview and yet my results vary at the 3rd rd after... What exactly do they look for?

I am wondering if I apply for a armed forces position, will going to a shrink look bad? Or if I applied to a goverment job, could the goverment possibly look at my medical records and see that I see a shrink and disqualify me?
