Yes you can. Well. It depends on the state. Im in CA and used to work for EDD. You should apply for a extention of benefits.
EDD=employment development dept./the state agency that pays unemployment benefits.

If it runs out, then probably not. You would have to work for a while first before you can collect again if you lose the job. Call your state unemployment office to find out for sure.

Only if 7% of the population is unemployed, then you can apply for a continuation.
If your benefits are about to run out, you need to find a job fast. You can also try to get assisantance through medicaid I guess. They will also help you find a job and try the temp services.
For Illinois (see link below) were only at 4.5%...nationally is 4.6%.
Try to find anything until you find something better. You can try the other links to look for a job as well, they have listings in all states.

It may depend on your state... in Illinois, you can only collect unemployment for 6 months of each year.

When unemployment benefit runs out... your funding runs out...it's time to find a job. Work in low-skill job is better than no job.

no everything will come to a break even point, not say that you can't get a job, maybe it's just what you request is a slicely higher what others are offer... Don't just think to rely on the government help, you're not handicap !!! Set yourself a new goal and work for it.. cheers!!

No. when your unemployment runs out it is gone. if you are a single parent you might try welfare. But eventually you will have to have a job.
