They are both really cool, but if you want to make a living you should do Engineering unless you are sure you will be able to go on and get a PhD in Psych. With a Psych degree and no PhD you will not demand a very high pay rate. If you get a minor in one and a major in the other and decide that you don't like the one you picked after a few years you could go back and finish up the other one fairly easily.

i in my opinion majored in engineering; besides the undeniable fact that, i do not truly evaluate any of the majors to be "funny tale majors". I propose this contained in the experience that maximum majors do require truly exertions (consisting of Enlish, communications, psychology, and so on). for instance, English majors probable might want to study thousands of pages of textual content per week, and write lengthy essays too. i ought to appreciate maximum those who have a complicated degree, in spite of what that is (except the "degree" comes from a level mill or something like that). besides the undeniable fact that, the pastime opportunities for particular majors (alongside with English, communications, psychology, and so on) are type of dismal... one among my engineering professors reported that he must be ok if his son or daughter chosen a humanities significant, yet that he does no longer pay for such an coaching. Such an attitude is, IMO, somewhat heavy-surpassed, yet there is a few reality to the very undeniable actuality that some majors ought to correctly be extra sensible than others.

Huge difference in coursework. Are you mathimatically inclined? Do you excel in Algebra, Physics, etc? If so, hit the engineering field. Pshchology is a great profession but to really get any where with out the Med. School, you almost need at least a Masters, not just Grad. degree.

Engineering is much more solid. With a psych degree, you could end up working in an office at a desk job because you can't decide how to apply your degree.
Of course Engineering will require a passion for detail and a lot of hard work!

I would say go with your heart, if you really love engineering then study engineerin anf if you really study psychology then study that. I would suggest taking your required courses and some electives during sophmore and freshmen year and then pick a major to focus on, if you still cant decide double major.

I am a second year Aerospace Engineering major and I love it more than anything.
Engineering, I'd say, is the best major there is and it makes the best money.
but it all depends on what your passion is... I love to design, but you may be more intrested in helping people.

ENGINEERING. You have a great career. Psychology is nothing more than a bunch of brainwashing, and everyone thinks they're a pro at it. (for freaks)

Engineering. Better pay in the long run, unless you are a really good psychologist, it can be boring.
