Is this an unemployment hearing? If so, yes perfectly legal.
If this is something that your work does for review, you would have to check with your HR person, look in the handbook that they gave you when you started and that you initialed that you read.
Those same witnesses can be used by you also. You should get a chance for rebuttal after they present their testimony.
Find out what kind of hearing this is and then get some help from the proper authority.
Good luck.

Legally you must be allowed to take eithr another employee as your witness or a trade union representative. This should have been stipulated on your letter.
The witness for each side is not permitted to talk during the meeting, only at the break when you are left alone with them.
Hope this makes you feel better.
Go on to the CIPD website for full advice and laws etc

Do not take any advice from this site without consideration. However, my advive is as follows:-
If you are in the UK, take the following steps:-
If you are in a Trades Union, contact them immediately for advice, if you are not, see a Solicitor (Lawyer) pronto.
Contact Citizens Advice Bureau, who will give you free advice regarding legal representation. You may be entitled to legal aid, which will pay for your legal costs, including the hire of a legal advisor.
It is possible that your employer will be allowed to bring in witnesses. You must seek advice as I have said above to ensure that you are equally represented, with the right to bring in your own witnesses, and legal/trades union/personal advocates for you.

beforehand the elders and a couple of or 3 that testify? - The judicial commitee works as accuser and judges. there is not any longer a biblical party of a "judicial committee" as executed by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. the nearest party replaced into closed door actuality-looking interviews of the Sanhedrin. The judicial committees reek of political/non secular upkeep. James 5:16 hence confess your sins to at least one yet another and pray for the different so that you could properly be healed. The prayer of a righteous guy is helpful and helpful. contained in the early days of Christianity confessions were a public which meant that they were executed contained in the in the front of the total congregation. deepest confessions to pastor/priest/elders that are executed in the present day got here at a later date. If someone has errored a lot of human beings probable already understand so why the hidden? Why no longer enable them pass beforehand the total congregation and ask for prayer confessing their blunders? James 5:16 (KJV) Confess your faults one to a special, and pray one for yet another, that ye ought to correctly be healed. The useful fervent prayer of a righteous guy availeth a lot. (BBE) So then, make a fact of your sins to at least one yet another, and say prayers for one yet another so that you could properly be made properly. The prayer of a good guy is done of skill in its operating. a million Timothy 5: (KJV) 24 some men's sins are open previously, going beforehand to judgment; and some men they stick with after. 25 Likewise also the solid works of a few are look previously; and they that are in the different case won't be able to be concealed. Luke 12:2 (KJV) For there is not any longer something coated, that shall no longer be printed; neither concealed, that shall no longer be generic. particular issues that were of mistakes dedicated against a special that ought to no longer be resolved between both or were horrendous ought to correctly be taken beforehand the elder men of the congregation. As I easily were instructed there are elders contained in the KHs less than 30 those days. Is that a guy that has years of adventure and adulthood? Jesus replaced into baptized at 32? imagine. There are mature and experienced women human beings and smart in what they do yet they might want to bow beforehand some youthful guy? i imagine the WTB&TS are scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

This is allowed and encouraged. Take a friend or family member along to ensure all is fair.
If you really feel they are walking all over you, hire a lawyer/ attorney.
