I imagine you'll know if you had a good interview when you get the job. Sometimes, you get a feel for how you think it went...but you never know. From an employer's perspective, they aren't always evaluating you on just your answers...it is their opportunity to try to gage you as a person...and it can be as different as there are number of people. I quit trying to second guess the process years ago. It sometimes comes down to how well you clicked with the other person...end of story.

that is a great question what you think is a great interview and what the other person thinks you will never know until you get that return call or email or letter...
