I currently work in ordinary office job and will be finishing MBA school next year. I'm rather tired of doing the same thing month after month and was thinking of taking some time off after graduation. Thing is I still have bills to pay..can I apply for unemployment or assistance for some kind? What's the best way to finance this endeavor (legally)?

I was signed up with myfico.com and my equifax was 599 and I signed up with truecredit.com today and they say its 657.........Which one is right? Which one do the creditors go by??? Sorry, so many questions I am trying to rebuild my credit!!

They force me to open a privacy assist and csi extra cash by phone, i told them im not interested and they still keep on talking and they told me to say "yes" and i said "yes" and they told me "congratulation" and i will recieve a mail,and after a week i check my online banking i saw a $25 and $19 fee and i haven`t recieve a mail yet.so i called them and i told them i want to cancel it, im having a hard time just to cancel it cause they still trying to persuading me.and now its been a month i check my online banking again and i saw that they haven`t cancel the privacy and csi extra. What should i do?

I really mean it. I've seen women that are rich marry a super rich man and expect the man to lavish and pay for their $500K weddings and they look and act so greedy.

I feel if a woman who is poor or middle class truly loved a guy that made bank, she would not want to drain his account but be concerned about him and his financial secruity. If a woman loves a man I believe love would matter not a Cartier rock that blinds you. It's not in my heart to cheat or scam like the other girls do, but maybe that's kind of what the guy likes a woman that will take him for every penny.

On my credit bureaus. I was very sick after my wife and I bought our house, eventually leading to a leg amputation. All of my other companies have removed them from my reports except for First Franklin mortgage. They said that I was legitimately late and they refused to remove them from my bureaus. I was late one month when I was sick and it took 8 months to catch it up. Is there anything that I can do to get them removed? Calling them did no good. How bad is this gonna hurt me in the future?

I make $13.32 per hr and do 40 hours a week. I think I'm averaging about $300.00 extra per month with my fledgling handyman adventures.

I think I have to bring in more from the Handyman biz or look into some foreclosure type of deal.

I do not want to live with anyone else and I do not want to mooch off of the government.

I would prefer not to get into some disasterous debt.

Insanely enough the real question seems to be: "how does one live rent or mortgage free alone?"

At this point in time I would even give serious thought to allowing the Government attach a third arm to my hip as an exchange for a home!

I was told by my Purchasing Manager that one our most important vendors refuses to kick back 15% to him. That hardly seems fair. My company gives him over a million dollars in orders a year!

While I can understand that the vendor may have cash-flow problems, there is no reason it can't be worked out on a long term pay back agreement.

My PM has bills to pay. And a rather large family to support. And, well, a few girlrfriends too.

I don't want to lose this vendor. What are your suggestions?

I just had a good faith estimate done for a home loan, the closing costs reach almost $9,744.00!!! My loan advisor told me that the seller can pay the closing cost. Is this normal? Does it depend on how bad the seller wants to get rid of the property?

A debt collector send me a letter stating that a garnishment summons may be served upon your employer. Don't you need to go the court before they can do this??? I called them and asked them what this was all about they said that I have been sued already but don't I have the right to state my casr in court before they take out money from my check??

So, I'm 24 junior year of college doing B.S. in communications. I never really knew what I wanted to do so I've always stuck with banking because the pay is decent and benefits are better. I always write letters for my friends who may have trouble with with something and need a letter to explain a problem or seeking payment from someone.....you know like a lawyer would write. I was recently thinking how I would really ENJOY being an attorney, but specifically an attorney that deals with "lemon law". You know, like purchasing a new car and everything going wrong with it, so you need a lemon law attorney.
What steps do I need to take to becoming an attorney that deals with lemon law? I'm 24, do you think it's too late to study law? How long will it take me?

I work for a bank delivering shares to the NY stock exchange. There are 2 other people who do the recieves. One of the guys who does the recieves is transfering to another department soon, and my boss wants me to take over his position. This is probablly the worst, most stress-filled job in the company (hence why the guy is transfering departments, he's only been doing it 8 months and he wants out). On a scale of 1 to 10, deliveries is a 3. Recieves is an 8, 9 on a bad day. I by no means want this job. The amount of email alone is enough to drown you.

Is there a way to decline the job, without looking bad, not a team player, or lazy?

Can I decline because they aren't gonna give me a raise?

One of the biggest problems for me personally though, I would have to work earlier and later.

I think I'm going to have to take the position though. How can I turn this around? How would I get a HUGE raise for doing it (like at least 3k more a year)? Or some other fringe benefits

I'm starting a teaching job at a small private school (in 5 days!!). I have 3 small children, so the schedule would be great. HOWEVER I just got called to get drug tested for the Post Office, which pays good, and I'd start out PTF (part-time flexible). The pay is almost double what I'd make at school! What to do???? Is God gonna be mad at me if I quit my job at a Christian school (which I've barely started??)

I noticed nearly 300 pounds taken out of my account.
I questioned this in my branch. They looked into it and asked me if I remember the transaction, which read on my statement 'ROSO pmt cc' . They later told me it was an error and credited me, but did nt go into detail. Any ideas.

I went to Circuit City and gave the cashier my AmEx card and he looked all surprised. Then he asked what kind of work I do... after hesitating for a minute, I told him... And I asked why he wanted to know, and he replied that he wants to know what kind of work he should be doing instead of working at circuit city .......since AmEx only approves people with good credit... is it true that you need good credit for an AmEx card? I've never heard of this before...

I have MANY great, marketable, and potentially lucrative ideas for inventions and improvements on existing products, but I do not have the financial resources to pay one of those invention assistance Companies $2,000 for a presentation of my product, and then $10,000 for a prototype of my product. How do I go about presenting my product to a Company for possible mass production as a partnership or for a percentage of the royalties? Do I need to obtain a patent first, how much is a patent, where do I apply for one, etc, etc??? Any and all advice, guidance, and support is GREATLY appreciated!!!

A colleague at my work who has the exact same position as me and actually started the same day as me has been given more responsibilities. I feel she is actually very poor at her job and often cuts corners and says she "doesn't care".

The only reasons that I can think of how we differ is that she is about 3 years older then me and is also of african descent, and I seem to get on with our supervisor just aswell as she does, if not more as she takes more time off.

I feel quite upset by this and I am unsure what to do or how to take it. Thanks
