Definitely not. I had people in my law class that were over 40. I don't like being an attorney, I'll sell you my law degree.

It's never too late! I am 29 and getting ready to apply to law school. I will be 30 before I even get started. There are a lot of steps to take to get yourself ready to go to law school. I would recommend the book Law School for Dummies. It will explain the process to you and the steps that you need to take. As far as specializing in lemon law, that's something you do after you get your law degree and pass the bar. There may be a few electives in law school that deal with that, but most people take the same basic classes. Good luck!

its never to late your only 24 , you are at the prime of your life just the beginning, it will take 2 to 4 years maybe depends on how serious you are and how bad you want it. and just think of the other things it could lead to like one day being a judge ..i say go for it and good luck on what ever you decide to do... i think you should study all the laws to be the best you can be...people getting ripped off by anything or anyone are the ones who needs attorneys most..

Have you ever talked with an attorney that practices the law you are refering to? Ask that person what they think about the state of the industry and how you can join the ranks.
Law school takes three years.
It is not took late if you consider that you may live into your 80's and beyond.

It is never too late!
There was an article in the paper last weekend about the world's oldest college grad, she was 95! And is going back to pursue a Masters. WOW!
I turned 40 this year and plan on taking my LSAT (Legal SAT) next spring. Depending on my grade, I would look to starting law school in the fall of 2010--I'll be 43!
Law school in Michigan takes 3 years.
You are never too old to pursue something you want to learn!
Look to the Y!A Coragryph. He went to law school and is knocking down his bar exams. And although by no means "old", he definitely is not in his 20's.
Good luck

It is never too late to reach for your dreams. I have people in my classes that are twice my age or older.
I graduated high school in 2000. I started classes this past summer at my local (and very impressive) community college. I am going for my Associate's in Interactive Media Design, and considering a Bachelor's and a Master's down the road. Going back to school has been the best decision I ever made. I chose a field I love, because if I don't enjoy my work, school will be stressful and unfulfilling for me.
GO FOR IT. Change your major and start doing what you love. It is not uncommon for people to do this. You won't regret it.

I know a woman whose husband left her for a younger woman after 16 years of marriage. She was a stay-at-home mom and wife. She only had a high school education.
She was 41 years old when she enrolled in college.
She later went to law school and is now a practicing attorney in Detroit Michigan.

The first step to becoming a lawyer is to apply to law school.
Find out from some law schools when you need to take the LSAT, when you need to apply, what classes you need to take in college to apply to law school, etc. Take those classes between now and when you finish your undergraduate degree. Take the LSAT at the proper time, apply at the proper time, etc.

You are far from too old! My husband just graduated from Law school in April and was 30. Law school is 3 years. The first thing you need to do is graduate from undergrad. You do not need to study law in undergrad to go to law school. Business school or pre-law would be helpful but not necessary. My husband's undergrad was in Anthropology. After you graduate from undergrad or in your senior year, you will have to take the LSAT to determine what law school you can go to. Law school is 3 years of hard work. Good luck!

Suppose it will take four years to study law (I'm just estimating, as I don't know for sure); at the end of that time, you'll be 28 years old. Now - how old will you be at the end of four years if you DON'T study law?
It's only too late if you don't start NOW :-)
