A tradeline is an entry on your credit report
i.e. a credit card, a collection account, a student loan, etc.
Derogatory ones are those that have negative information on them.
i.e. missed payments

Basically anything on your credit report that's hurting your score or wasn't handled in the manner you agreed to when taking out the loan.
