It can be but it all depends on the circumstances. What is the cost of living in the area? If food, housing, transportation, taxes are all high then you might not see very much of that 73K in your saving account.

Good if you live in New York City, Boston or LA - very good pretty much anywhere else. But somehow I think that you already know that.

Is this your yearly income?

If your yearly income meets the requirements you have for shelter, food, etc., then it is a good amount for you.

national avg is only 45k or so. I hope you're not wasting it all. Are you saving for a house? early retirement?

Sure, why not. ofcourse it depends on where you live. Cost of living in some area can be hell.
