As putting yout TV on standby still consumes some energy, I bought an extra socket, so I can turn the TV's power completely off.( The TV itself can only be put on standby, but not completely off. )
Now is it bad for my Plasma TV (42 inches) if I turn the power compeltely off at night, instead of putting it on standby?

I have spoken to his head of year( year 10) but I've found that it's a certain couple of teachers who are the problem. He has been "on report" countless times,allegedly to help him focus, but all we get is sarcastic, unhelpful comments from idiots who are completely missing the point and should know better. They critisise him constantly, so he shuts off, and no wonder, yet if I try and point this out, they all band together and it's he who is the problem. Is there anyone else who I can get help from to deal with this. He's really starting to struggle with his GCSE work and is getting behind.

been having a sort out through my cd collection today and found a prodigy album which ( when listend to) takes me back to my younger days as a teenage tearaway. what song ( i need the artist and song so i can look it up on my music site) brings back the memories of the good old days when you were young and care free. There are so many diversions around where I live it is taking me 30 minutes to get to work in the morning and it only takes 10 minutes to get home. I hate queuing traffic and sometimes scream in the car. Any tips on coping with long traffic queues?

i was in the states and met many girls that we not even 20 and they were introducing me to their husbands and didnt understand when i said "you dont waste any time". I saw quite a few hen nights with girls not even old enough to drink. In the uk we like to think things through a little more.

Bear has constantly been getting up and started limping, but after walking on it for a few minutes, he's back to normal. Lately, he won't respond to his name, and is is too much pain to lay down. My mother in law is completely controlling. She picked out our house for us and since my wife agrees with everything she says, that is the house we bought. I feel like I don't have a say in anything.

Her mom is even listed on our bank account !!! We have had nothing but problems with her and my wife thinks I am the problem. She thinks if I would just go along with what her mom says, we wouldn't have any problems. Her mom is the source of 99% of our arguments.

Most recently after we ran a credit check on my wife, we found out her mom had opened 7 credit cards in her name and now has ruined her credit. My wife didn't even care.

I have tried every way possible to try to work things out, but I am starting to wonder if it is even possible to save our marriage if my wife isn't on my side. We have a 16 month old son together and I want to be here for him, but her mom has been controlling us for almost 9 years now with no sign of change and I can't take it anymore.
