The national highway act of 1984 states that states are complied to raise the drinking age to 21 or the state will get 10% cut from their annual federal highway funds. To me, this is against the 10th and 21st amendment. Because of one group, MADD, who is trying to prohibit every single alcohol. I think we should repeal this law and create another amendment of maintaining the age of 18 or better yet make a consitutional amendment. Take for example that the legal limit for BAC is .08% while for under 21 is .01%. This is ridiculous. Please send you thoughts out.

the check was written to me, not by me. but the owner of the store is saying thatit's up to me to pay them. it bounced for insufficent funds from the persons bank account. how is that my fault?

i live in california

also they want to add on an extra 1500.00 fee is that legal or am i getting skrewed? or should i be the one having to pay it at all?

Ok, so I am in highschool and for my english class, we have to write a short story similar to those of Edgar Allen Poe. The thing is, I dont really like the horror/scary type of movies/books/etc. so I need some ideas on a plot line, setting, characters, etc...All I know so far is that someone is gonna get killed and that there is more than 2 characters...Anyways, any ideas will be helpful, Thanks!

I'm just getting a tube tv....i dont see the sense in getting an HDTV or a plasma because it wont help with graphics on the wii anyway. I'm planning on just putting it on this computer desk I have in my room so what do you think? 20" big enough for the wii. Please dont tell me something stupid like "go get a 42" plasma tv because i'm not going there...thanks

Im 29, and just tired of my life. I'm female, been divorced for 4 years, i've pretty much given up on men. I go to work, come home, sometimes go to the gym, sometimes do nothing. I hung out with friends sat and sun night...i just feel incredibly unfulfilled. I"m in a masters program (meets once a week) and i'm SO not into it. I have all these ideas on what i want to do, but i dont do any of it! I just do what i have to do to get by. Ive been feeling really dismayed about life...i feel like i have no purpose!! Does anyone else feel this way??

Belief in Santa Claus makes children behave. It allows parents to control their kids. Kids that believe in Santa are happier and healthier and get more toys. In countries where Santa is rejected there are fewer toys and more naughty girls and boys. Children cannot possibly be moral without belief in Santa Claus because if they know they aren't getting toys they will just act like brats. The festive spirit of the entire western world has been boosted by the belief in Santa, thus spurring the growth of our peaceful civilization. Without believing in Santa clause, our youth would turn to crime and drugs and our society would collapse. But worst of all, no children would receive toys and our economy would suffer as a result (and so would China's)

So, by the pristine logic of most Christians,

Santa Claus most *certainly* exists!

We currently have vinly tile in our tiny kitchen. We want to upgrade but want something that looks nice and is easy to install. What would you recommend (not wood)? Also, would we have to take up the vinyl floor tiles or install on top of it?
