I'm just getting a tube tv....i dont see the sense in getting an HDTV or a plasma because it wont help with graphics on the wii anyway. I'm planning on just putting it on this computer desk I have in my room so what do you think? 20" big enough for the wii. Please dont tell me something stupid like "go get a 42" plasma tv because i'm not going there...thanks

Yes, it is big enough. I have a 20" tv in my room as well. You will enjoy playing it on the 20" tv. :)

Firstly, to correct the previous responder's statment about tube TVs becomeing useless. Broadcast signals are going digital next year (assuming they don't bump the date back again, like they've done at least 4 times before since 2000), but that only matters if you recieve your TV signals from an antenna. Cable and satellite signals have already been digital for seveal years, but the boxes then convert the signal to analog channels.

As for the original question, The size of the TV is only important in one way. For optimal use of the Wii, you need to be sitting approximately 6-8 feet away from the sensor bar. Any closer or farther away will likely cause problems with the IR functions. So you need it to be big enoguh you can see it comfortably from that distance.

It'll be fine... a 20" does the job... but...

There are cables you can hook up to your HDTV that actually do improve the Wii's graphics a little bit. These cables are sold separately, but I've heard nothing but good things about them.

And... careful with buying a tube TV... I know this isn't part of the question, but TV stations all over the country are switching over to the digital HD quality that will make those tube TV's (like yours and mine) useless. So if you're planning on spending some cash on a TV, go HD, but if it's just gonna be there for on your desk... I completely agree with what you're doin'...
