I bought a Maytag washer & dryer from craigslist.org.
I learned my lesson. I will never do that again.
I bought them for $650.... thinking I got a good deal.
But I was stupid and believed the washer worked. I asked them many times if it worked. The humble couple said they were almost new.
I bought them 6 months ago. And I just connected them today. I waited till my dad came back from vacation. Because I don't know how to connect any appliance.
So the washer didn't turn on. I called a repair man, and he said the computer on it was burned out.
I feel so stupid now.
I printed out all the emails we sent to each other.
So what can I do? Can I take her to small claims if they don't give me my money back????? I live in Illinois.

Hi!
I have just signed up for my CNA's course and am hoping to start working next spring some time. After spending time with family (grandparents and such) in retirement homes, assisted living, and nursing homes, I really have no desire to work in them...however after spending weeks with an ill mother in a hospital, I would like to work in a hospital setting...
Some people have "eluded" to the fact that it's hard to get a hospital job right out of certification...is this the case? Or can I go right to hospitals and apply? Or do I need the nursing home or assisted living experience first?
Please, don't answer if you don't know.
Any CNA's opinions would be great!

All I want to do is write out a phrase in either Illustrator or Photoshop, and then save it as a jpg file.

I want to create a nice font, then color the "stroke" as black, the font as a different color, and then save the entire thing as a jpg so I can post it on a web page.

However, it seems that Illustrator can't save anything as a jpg file, and Photoshop has a real problem with coloring the stroke and fill of text.

Is there an easy way to do this, or is it being made intentionally difficult? Any suggestions would be very helpful. Even if you suggest using some other program!

Okay, i have really old parents and i told them i wanna have a puppy cuz like most of my friends have really cute puppies and my parents are scared of pets but im not i was telling them a puppy wont bite you but they keep on saying "no you can not have a puppy". ive been crushing on this girl for a long long time. and a couple years ago i did something really immature (i didnt insult her) that probably turned her off of me for a while. but now we're back in the same class, but i dont talk to her unless we're in groups working on an experiment (she sits right in front of me, and theres not a lot of social time). and since i did what i did a couple of years ago, ive noticed her looking at me, and staring sometimes, and now, in class, when we're working together i get the feeling she may be interested in me. like i said before, ive been crushing on her for a long time, and theres this dance coming up, that i really want to go with her to. which brings me to my question, whats the best way to get a girl alone so you can ask her out?? please please please, ive really gotta know.

My stepdad rescued a newborn snapping turtle when landscapers dug up it's nest. I did my research and supplied it with what it needs, a big tank, minnows to eat, warm lightening, lots of plants, rocks, etc,.It's done well for about 1 1/2 months, but recently I've been taking him out of his tank for about 20 minutes and just basically holding him, letting him walk around, etc., and washing any places he touched afterwards, but is that OK to do? The more I do it, the more at ease he is and the less scared he is of getting up and walking around. Is it even possible to "humanize" a snapping turtle?

I never seem to be in a deep sleep at night. It takes forever to fall asleep and I feel like Im only half asleep. I wake up over anything. Get up several times in the night. Some nights I can't get to sleep at all. Tossing and turning and restless. The next day I am so tired at work that all I want to do is go back to sleep. I tried an OTC sleep aid and it worked one night, the best night of sleep i've ever had, and hasn't worked since then. Is there something wrong with me or something I can try.
I exercise, take vitamins, eat well, dont have caffine later in the day.

My oldest brother just had hip replacement surgery & I was having a debate with my 2nd oldest brother on why there is so much of this surgery being done these days. I know there is the obvious injuries, but my personal opinion is if you are basing it on just general wear & tear I figured in that people who had very active sex lives would wear their hips out faster. But I would like to hear your reasons on why you think this is such a common surgery.
