If you determine your motives for any particular decision to be good, is that not colored by the fact that they are your motives and you want to have pure intentions?

If you determine said motives to be bad, could that be the fault of "over-correcting" for the above mindset? Or, if you truly have bad motives, do you really want to know this?

For example, if one says "I want to be rich so I can help a lot of people," does that include the fact that he or she will then obviously have more than enough for themselves?

However, if you refuse to judge your own motives, you then have no basis for doing anything, correct?

Ok, so I have endometriosis and i read in some places that it might be hard to get pregnant.. and I've been very lucky and slightly irresponsible.. For about a year i had sex w/o a condom just pull out method and i was lucky enough not to get pregnant and i just have this feeling that i might not be able to conscieve for real... Curious - someone hits me and takes off. The cops come. I don't even get an accident report. When I call the next day to get some info, they say that it won't even be assigned to an officer for a week! A lot can happen in a week - like the guy that hit me could have his car fixed and deny everything! Why are cops like this?? Why are they not interested in helping?

i am currently in a relationship that i had high hopes for. THis young man is very caring and sweet. He helped me through the breakup i just went through and promised to be by my side for the rest of my life. HOwever, i didnt trust him 100 percent and i saw something that made me upset and i asked him about it. He told me there was nothing to worry about but i didnt feel safe. I told him that until i feel i can trust him that i need to be single. He was sad and told me that he loved me but then after that day he became distant and didnt talk to me. I called him to ask him whats wrong and he says he is busy. ( mind you this young man would call me before he goes to school and right after he gets home from work.) Then on his myspace he put up pictures of girls and exchanging numbers. He tells me i need to trust him but he is acting like he doesnt love me anymore. I want to trust him but a big part of me says : CAUTION! I dont know if it was what i said.

I left home about 10 years ago so I guess the guinea pig died about 15 or so years ago, yet on occasion I still dream she is alive.

The dream is that I realise I have forgotten about her for all of these years and when I get into the shed, she is still in her cage but barely alive.

I found her dead when I was young and my mum had just called me from work to tell me off for staying in bed when I should have put the guniea pig out in the garden earlier. It was very traumatic when I found her stiff in the cage . . .

Is the dream because I still all these years later, blame myself for her death?

I have a nanny for my 14 month old daughter. She has been a good nanny and very dependable. She recently ended a 3 year relationship with a stable man, and is now involved with a less than stable boyfriend. She has been honest about what he is involved in and now she has been participating to an extent. He printed counterfit money on her printer and they drove around and used the fake bills at fast food drive through's. They were caught immediatly and she was detained. Her boyfriend had drugs on him and he was arrested and charged with 7 felonies. She was detained, and won't be prosecuted as long as she testifies against him. She is currently trying to bail him out of jail. I have sat her down and discussed her poor judgment, but am I putting my daughter in danger? Should I let her go? Please help, I am in need of good advice.

I am trying to remove a Titan door lever and replace it with a new door knob. I have replaced door knobs several times in the past without any problems. For some reason, I am having a very difficult time removing the old door hardware (once again, it's a Titan lever and deadbolt). Does anyone know the "secret" for successfully removing the old door hardware?

The last few Years I have been thinking about joining up, but now I have made up my mind. Currently 20 years old (i'll join after I turn 21) and single. Navy caught my attention, I think I will love the life at sea in the Navy (grew up near San Francisco) . As I said I will definitely either go in as a MA or Cook in the Navy, I currently am planning on becoming a Police Officer after I serve my time, hell if I love it I make even make a career out of it.

Im tring to find some unbiased opinions on each of these jobs. I will NOT go into the Army or Marines so please avoid those comments, I have no interest in being infantry, and im not much into technical jobs (mechanics, etc). I do plan on talking to a recruiter next year but want some non recruit opinions, but want to know if you enjoyed your time in Navy. Will I have the opportunity to go out on deck and night and relax watching the sea? What about going in as a Cook? Will I have room to grow in the Navy starting as an E1?

I took in 4 stray kittens raised them till they were 6 weeks old and found homes for them. Now I have fleas. I have had an exterminator here twice, done all the required cleaning, used 7dust and borax. I have spent over a month cleaning my a** off and I still have fleas. Funny thing is, after treating my home we don't see any fleas for a week, then they magically reappear. Can anyone help? I am on the verge of a mental breakdown and have no clue what to do. In total I have spent around $200 trying to get rid of the fleas. I am disabled with a heart condition and 2 children to raise. I am at my financial end. Please only serious answers!!!

I had two generic ink cartridges that didn't work, (kept getting error messages) so I bought and installed two name brand, then the next morning decided to try the generics again, worked that time. I put the tape back on the name brand cartridges and sealed them in the foil bags, will that save them till I need them?

i just bought brand new duracell rechargable batteries with a charger and used it for my camera,cd player etc. after the first charge anytime i recharge it fully and use it it dies extremely fast. it shouldnt do this just because i didnt use it for a couple days right?
