My fiancee and I are getting married next year. Ever since i was a little girl, I have always wanted a RED wedding dress. My mum and all my side of the family are telling me "You wear what ever colour you want". But my fiancee's side is telling me, "You should wear a white dress, because you will look back on your albums, and start regretting it."

Any opinions, or bright ideas to help me get over this dilemma?????

I want to get a bird, but not right now. I want a bird like my sisters (Indian Ring Neck), but she said it is hard to get a bird to be that loving. I want a bird that can talk, but is not any smaller than a Ring Neck. My sister said get a African Grey. I want a bird that is kinda big and can talk. In this day and age when people are more open-minded, I am suprised at the reaction I get when I say I don't want to have children. I don't say it in a negative way like I hate kids...I love kids-I work with special needs kids at my job. It's just that I've never felt the desire to have my own children. People always say, "oh, I'm sure you'll change your mind" but what if I don't? Will I be chastised because people will assume I'm a selfish, horrible person for not reproducing? I have thought this through a lot and am pretty sure I'd like to spend my time and efforts doing volunteer work instead of raising kids. People make the choice to have kids, why can't I make the choice not to?

that is so childish! People are people no matter how much meat is on the darn body! there are more problems going on in the world then for us to be judging people on who much they weigh, its noones buisnees and noone has a right to jugdge about it. I find most people who are overweight that became my friends were way more wonderful beautiful trustworthy people then friends that were stick thin. I am very little my self but when i see my friends i never see the weight i see the eye and the soul! God bless you all !

The british royal marines show again how good britains military is with a daring rescue in afghanistan. 4 Royal marines clung to the sides of a apache helicopter to rescue a fallen comrad after fierce fighting against the taliban. They were flown directly into the fighting and succesfully recovered the marine. The found out when the got back to safety that he was dead unfortunately but the fact they risked so much on the side of a helicopter designed only for offensive operations shows incredible bravery but to do it during a battle makes it an amazing acheivment.

Its all part of the job I know but i for one am proud of our forces and their undefiable stance in the face of the enemy and cant wait to play my part.

Has anyone else heard about this and what do you think?

I need a camera that will be good to take photos of houses, both external and internal. What features should I be looking for? Will 6x optical zoom be enough? It will really only be used for this purpose so i'm not looking for something that has too many features, as they won't be used and will only confuse the salespeople. I just need a simple camera, that is easy to use and takes high quality photos.
