While I'm not female (obviously), I have found that females prefer a man to be trimmed, but not completely shaved bald down south. This makes the areas look neat and styled, and it also has the pleasant side effect of giving the illusion of a larger manhood in comparison to being unshaved. Plus, if a girl is willing to try oral with you, she'll appreciate the cleaner workspace.

I trim down everything from the genitals to my waistline, and completely shave anything lower. It's a bit of a pain to take care of, though, and putting trimmer or razor down there can be a bit intimidating. A beard shaver works well on the trimmed areas, and try using a Gillette Venus (yes, a lady's razor) on the more sensitive areas for shaving.

For age comparison - I'm 30 and been married for almost 10 years. My personal preference is trimmed. Shaved would honestly freak me out as would some funky mohawk. Actually, it would be kind of humorous to see someone with a funky mohawk dyed multiple colors. Once I got over the shock value and picked myself up off the floor from laughing then I'd be freaked out that a man would actually do it.

girlfriend, all we care about is what they tell us...they don't even have to mean it...as long as they tell us what we want to hear, then we respond like they want us to...personally speaking, i'll go to the trouble of shaving if it's spontaneous, done with loving care and tenderness...other than that, if they show up recently shaved, i'd require a blood test or double wrap that baby...with love, 1

I'm a guy and I'm answering this because as a guy, I don't listen. Trim don't shave. It's winter! But if he does shave his junk will look bigger.

I don't want it to be overly hairy, but I don't want it perfectly shaved either. Some strands are fine. If it was completely shaved, that's a bit feminine.

First of all, it's not about LOOKS, and shaved is definitely better.

I say don't shave. I like foliage!
If he wants to, why not give it a try? Then you'll know. It will grow back, like any hair cut.
