Test drive both and decide which one agrees with you. Also, I would recommend you get a hybrid, if you can. In the long run you'll save funds on gas and you'll be a lot kinder to the environment.

N.B:
If you want a 22K, buy something that costs around 15K to 18K so that after adding taxes, delivery costs and other dealer costs etc you'll end up having spent 22K. If you buy a car that costs exactly 22K, you'll end up spending at least 26K or more on the car.

Either or is going to be a great car. I'm a big fan of german cars, but if your deciding between the two then pick the toyota. Your going to get a little more for your money, honda is starting to lose its fight against toyota. But it also depends on what you want it for, and if you can find the right car for you. The best bet would be to go with the car you love the most. Don't worry about witch is better, they are both great buys, and get the car that you can see yourself driving the most.

I'd go toyota. I've had 1 volvo ( an old used one that my Dad swore I'd never be able to wreck), and then I've had 2 Toyotas. I had a Toyota echo, and a Tacoma. They're very reliable cars and I've never had trouble with them.
