我想要改成這樣：
The Communist party took hold of power in China, and wanted to make complete changes that not only (to) modernize China but also (to) eliminate economic injustice.

其中的 to 要可以加進去嗎?

要是沒加的話跟原意一樣吧??

起源

塗鴉在英語中是以複數 Graffiti 表示。其單數詞為 graffito。兩字均由義大利文借用得來，並且都是起源於希臘文graphein，意指「書寫」或是小孩子無意識的塗鴉行為。塗鴉最早是由Romans開始,在他們的社會,抗議的宣洩詞語或聲明經常被塗寫在公共場所或街道牆壁.

"Graffiti" is the plural of "graffito", which singular form has become relatively little-known in English. Both words were borrowed from Italian but derived from Greek “graphein”. They mean "writing" or the child’s behavior of unconscious daub. The graffiti started by Romans, in their society, remonstrant words or asseverations were usually drawn on the wall.

可是就我所查, 只有看到 ''make a scene'' 或 ''make the scene'' 甚至
''make scenes'' 等用法, 前面大都會使用冠詞.

其無冠詞用法在新聞中是可被接受的嗎?

A hostage crisis is over in a small Luxembourg town, after police disguised as reporters shot and killed the hostage taker. The armed man took 37 very young children at a pre-school hostage in Wasserbillig, near the border with Germany.

He demanded a plane to fly him to Libya in exchange for the release the children. The man had a history of mental illness. Neighbors say the man apparently blamed the school when he lost custody of his two children in a separation battle with his wife.

Police became concerned when the man held one of the children in front of a window and put a gun to her head. Eventually the man asked to go on national TV and tell his side of the story.
A police sharp shooter who went inside disguised as a TV cameraman shot the man twice, ending the crisis.
Nervous parents who had been waiting outside were quickly reunited with their children. None of the students were hurt.

因為最近剛學英文，想說練習名詞子句的用法
所以我寫" I forgot this invoice that was no.HK-xxxxx"
但我同事卻說我這樣寫是台式英文
為什麼???
她說名詞子句不是這樣用的
她叫我寫"I missed the invoice no.HK-xxxxx"
我已經告訴她我要用名詞子句的方法來詮釋我的意思了
但她還是說我的句子是錯的
如果說我的句子比較繁雜我能理解
畢竟英文越簡單越好
