我的名詞子句哪裡台呀?

今天我要發mail告知廠商我忘了invoice no.HK-xxxxx這張invoice
因為最近剛學英文，想說練習名詞子句的用法
所以我寫" I forgot this invoice that was no.HK-xxxxx"
但我同事卻說我這樣寫是台式英文
為什麼???
她說名詞子句不是這樣用的
她叫我寫"I missed the invoice no.HK-xxxxx"
我已經告訴她我要用名詞子句的方法來詮釋我的意思了
但她還是說我的句子是錯的
如果說我的句子比較繁雜我能理解
畢竟英文越簡單越好
但是，我是想要練習名詞子句的用法啊
難道名詞子句不是這樣用的嗎?
I forgot this invoice.
This invoice is HK-xxxxx.
不是等於"I forgot this invoice that was HK-xxxxx
我的用法哪裡錯了?

而且時態不是應該要一致嗎?
前面用forgot，後面不是要用was嗎?

在下以這件事情為背景, 舉例說明名詞子句的使用方式:

It is my negligence that I forgot the invoice No. HK xxxx for T/T.
忘了須要電匯的這張發票, 是我的疏失.
it是虛主詞, 真正的主詞就是that引導的名詞子句.

Usually I won't forget what is of such importance.
通常我不會忘記這麼重要的事.
what引導的名詞子句, 當forget的受詞.

What you can be sure is that I'll complete the transfer first thing in the morning tomorrow.
您可以放心, 我會在明天一早就完成匯款.
what引導的名詞子句當主詞, that引導的名詞子句是主詞補語.

I apologize again (for the fact) that I had so embarrassing a mistake.
對於如此令人尷尬的失誤, 我再次表達歉意.
that引導的名詞子句是fact的同位語. 括號中的部分一般都省略不寫.

補充:
1. I forgot this invoice that it's number is HK-xxxx.
invoice已經是forgot的受詞, 而forget這個動詞是不需要受詞補語的, 因此that引導的是一個副詞子句, 但是這樣語意不通(我忘了這張發票, 以致於它的號碼是HK-xxxx).
2. I forgot this invoice that is numbered/No. HK-xxxx.
這裡的that引導的是一個形容詞子句, 而不是名詞子句, 也不是受詞補語(不需要).
3. I forgot that I should have the invoice No. HK-xxxx transferred.
這裡的that引導的才是一個名詞子句,當forget的受詞.

首先，用miss 還是用forget，跟用不用名詞子句沒關係
那是用字是否精準的問題

當forget解作忘記了的時候，它代表無法記起一些事實、
一些曾發生的事、或者無法記起如何去做某些事，
這時候forget會作為及物動詞 (也就是後面是跟名詞)

例如 I forget your name 就解作我無法記起你的名字

如果forget要解作忘記去做甚麼，它就會是不及物動詞，
後面一般得加上要做甚麼的動詞

例如 I forget to close the door

所以 I forget the Invoice 的意思是「我忘了這張invoice 的存在」
而不是「我漏了這張invoice 沒拿給你」
我看來，你的意思不像是前者
(改為 I forget to send this invoice 就對了)

miss 是及物動詞 (transitive verb)，
裏面已包含了遺漏了做某些東西的意思，
所以不用再加上其他動詞

然後是This invoice is HK-xxxxx.
這句句子把HK-xxxxx 當作一個形容詞，
意義上是沒有錯，但有點不清楚，
就好像我們說 「This boy is Tom」，
大家也會明白那小男孩叫Tom，但有點怪怪的，
改為「This boy is called Tom」就清楚多了
你的那句句子也是一樣，可改為
「This invoice is numbered HK-xxxxx」

把 1. I forgot to send this invoice
2. This invoice is numbered HK-xxxxx
用名詞子句串在一起，就是
I forgot to send this invoice that is numbered HK-xxxxx.

時態方面，invoice那一句的時態代表那 invoice 的編號的時間
如果那 invoice一直是這個編號，用 is
如果那 invoice只有在忘記了送出時是這個編號，用was

要用那一句，就要看你想說的重點是甚麼

你告訴對方你忘了這張invoice的存在，
人家可能會覺得你是在質疑到底有沒有這張invoice

告訴對方你忘了電滙，
則清楚把重點「忘了電滙」($$$$$呀) 告訴對方

你如果堅持要用名詞子句,應改為:

I forgot this invoice that it's number is HK-xxxx.

你的名詞子句沒有主詞,而且這張invoice不管你是何時忘記傳的,號碼是不會變的,故應用現在式is,而不是過去式.
