I am a Florida resident, but I was wondering when there were the biggest discounts and least busiest times. I would like to stay in a hotel there, and the time would preferably be within the next few months, (November, December, January). Thanks for your help!

I'm going to be arriving in the San Diego International Airport, and my hotel is in Encinitas (on Encinitas Boulevard). I'm just wondering what options I have getting there...the cheaper the better. Are there any alternatives to taxis, like shuttle buses? And if so, how do you get on the right shuttle bus?

My best friend and I want to move out of Detroit after we graduate college (next year) she is going to be a teacher and I am going to be a graphic designer. We want to get out of MI because the economy is bad, no jobs, and its too cold. We were thinking between Texas, Maryland(or Washington D.C area), and South Carolina. Where should we move to and why? Are there any other cities/states we should consider?

I recently traveled to California the past summer, I was really looking forward to going to all the beaches. When I got there I was extremely suprised to find out almost all the beaches were very cold, the water mostly, and this was the middle of summer! Even a few of the beaches I went to it was freezing just to be walking on the beach in a t-shirt. Then I went to NC a few week later and the water was warm and easy to get into. Does anyone know why this is??

I know they can hide in beds and nearby curtains but can they hangout and survive in the bathroom?

I figure the bathroom is cleaned a bit stricter so that would be a safe place to keep my luggage.

I am going to Vegas this Tuesday night with my family for one night only. We are coming back the next day. However, I do not want to sleep. What is there for me to do between 12 am and 7 am. I know the casinos are open but I am not a gambler. Not really into clubs either.

A friend of mine has invited me to visit him at his apartment on Seaman Ave in the Inwood neighborhood area of Manhattan. I am from the country and afraid of cities. Is Inwood a safe neighborhood? If I took the subway from GranddCentral would I go through any unsafe neighborhoods? Thanks

My husband and 3 children are thinking of emmigrating to the USA from the UK, but we cannot decide where about we might consider living. America is so diverse.
We have been looking at Manchester NH because it has no state income tax or sales tax. that makes it attractive.
I do not like it too hot but I like a good mixture of weather and would like to have snow in winter.
My husband and I are big American Football fans (Green Bay and Buffalo) and we have looked at orchard Park NY and around the Milwaukee area.
The west coast might be a little far from my family in the UK but if it was really nice i might consider it....any ideas?

I'm looking for a place to go look at a BUNCH BUNCH BUNCH of stars. I'm in Los Angeles and the farthest I'm willing to drive is 100 miles. I don't mind paying a small parking fee or a small admission fee, as long as its safe, and it has a bunch of stars. I would assume I have to get out of the city to see a sky filled with stars and thats okay with me. I never seen many stars in my life and I would like that experience that.

Me and a buddy of mine are thinking about moving from Kansas City to San Antonio or a city in Texas and SA is our top choice because we have visited once for business. I am planning to move down there so I can transfer to a college nearby (UT) which I know is in Austin. During the time I was down there I didn't experience too much of the culture and life of SA. So if anyone could provide some or a lot of info about San Antonio that might make us more eager to want to move down there that would be great. What I'm really looking for is personal opinions and views of San Antonio.

Note: I have looked at a bunch websites but none that give opinions about how people feel about San Antonio so that's why I'm asking here.

Thanks.

I will be moving to Las Vegas in the next couple of years, I have heard that either Henderson or Summerlin are the two best towns close to Las Vegas to live in. How far are they from the strip and approx for a 2 bdrm apt or house to rent what are the price ranges. Any information about this would be helpful. THANKS!!!

I live in a small town in Pennsylvania until I was 1.5. Then I moved to a small town in New Jersey and lived there until I was 13. Then I moved to Charleston, South Carolina. I went to college in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at age 18, but would spend the summer with my parents in Charleston. After I graduated at age 22 (May of 2007), I moved to Charlotte and have been here for 4 months.

Without any additional information, what is my hometown?

Also, if you don't think RIGHT NOW my hometown is Charlotte, when will Charlotte become my hometown? I understand this question will be interpreted several different ways, I just wanted everyone's opinion! Thanks!
