I am going to Vegas this Tuesday night with my family for one night only. We are coming back the next day. However, I do not want to sleep. What is there for me to do between 12 am and 7 am. I know the casinos are open but I am not a gambler. Not really into clubs either.

Walking is good for you. Take a good pair of walking shoes and wander around the Downtown Casino and Strip Casino areas. Maybe plan ahead a bit and figure out what casino attractions that grab your interest. I'm thinking of things like the Bellagio Fountains, Mirage Aquarium, MGM Lions, etc., etc. Check ahead to see if they are open during the hours you'll be wandering.

I never have any problem entertaining myself for a few hours in Vegas without drinking or gambling.

That's Weird - you don't gamble but you want to go to Vegas? That's a bit like an atheist who can't wait to go to church.

See Red Rock Canyon in the daytime - great natural wonder 20 minutes outside of town. Boulder Dam and the Colorado River are worth the trip also.

In town there is always people watching - very entertaining how people act in Vegas. Take a stroll down the Strip (Las Vegas Blvd - many free sights to see). One day will probably be enough for you. The city runs almost entirely on gambling, booze, nightclub entertainment, and sex.

people watch and the architecture of the big casinos will keep you busy. Get a free pass for the car collection at the Imperial Palace. It is amazing! Gugenheim/Hermitage museum at the Venetian. Bellagio Gallary of Fine Art. Wynn is just amazing, go to the Ferrari dealership there. Forum shops at Caesars Palace has lots of cool shops to look at that you could never afford. Circus shows free at Circus Circus. Go see Fat Elvis for free at Bills Gambling Hall (formerly the Barbary Coast) he puts on a hell of a show. and 1000 other things......

Well I know you don't gamble but if you want to dabble you can play a $1 at a penny machine, one penny at a time.

You can drive up to Lake Las Vegas, it is pretty at night and quiet. Some casinos have lounge music going on that play Jazz. MT. Charleston is good at night, but I think that the Lounge closes late. Find a good sports bar and watch some games or horse races late at night.

You will find something to do, have fun.

Like everyone said, just walk around. Everything is always open on the strip so there is so much to see and do. You can never see all that there is to see in a 24 hour period. For that fact it would take you weeks to see all that there is to see. If you want to plan things then go to Vegas.com and check on all the different things to see and do. But you would be better off just walking the strip and checking things out as you see them. Have fun.

Definitely visit Fremont street and enjoy the street concerts, performers on the stunt stage and the fremont experience. Trust me it's one big 24 hr. carnival. All for free
