Also, are there any suggestions for New Years in Indianapolis, Indiana? Or surrounding cities that are good to be in on the eve of the New Year!

I'm out here in Indy, back in school again, 24 so I can def get into most spots.

the tv shows are so wierd??? Today I turned on Grey's Anatomy and it was in Spanish and a bunch of shows have been that way lately on Fox too. Cops was that way Saturday. Also on the court shows like csi and ncis have that stupid commentary going on thru the whole show. I thought maybe it was my tv but not all the shows are that way... Does anyone know why??

I am looking to possibly relocate to Indianapolis I am looking for a city environment that has a VERY racially mixed community. Gay friendly is a must. Is this a good move to make? I recently moved to NJ and the cost of living is very HIGH I originate from Toledo Ohio I am looking for something not as economically deprived as Toledo but a similar atmosphere C I T Y. I`m making plans to visit, as a diversion off route 66. For example do they do tourist trips round the Brickyard?, forget museums etc. Cheap decent hotels, bars etc.

I'm going to be turning 21 on Jan. 5 (long way away, I know... but I want to make early reservations). There will be probably 5 other people w/ me. I'm torn between these 2 ideas:

1.) Getting a hotel in downtown Indianapolis within walking distance of the bars and strip clubs.I figured we start out drinking at the hotel, hit up a few bars, possibly stop at a strip club.
2.) Getting a limo or party bus and have them drive us to the bars/ strip clubs. Probably drinking a little in the limo (I assume they allow this?)

What do you think would be the better choice? I'm thinking the limo, because it will obviously be cold in January. But if we are drinking, we will probably be warm enough to walk around town.

I need a hotel that will allow partying(nothing out of hand, but we will be drinking) and possibly a good limo service.
Any suggestions of a good bars or strip clubs to hit up would be great!
