Hotels will probably cost more than that. I'd look at the local Days Inn, Motel 6, or Super 8 for those prices.

Without going to a room by the hour "whore" hotel, I would suggest checking out the YMCA or YWCA or youth hostels. I don't know how old you are, but typically these are for people under 26 and may need a membership. Check into it at sites below:
The Indy Hostel is listed at $25 per night.
There is another one on the bottom website.

Are you sure you don't want the ones that will rent you the room by the hour? I've lived in Indianapolis/Fishers all my life and have never seen a hotel for $10/night. Dollar Inn in Castleton (needs to be torn down immediately) says their rates start at $29.99 and that doesnt' include a crack whore or a continental breakfast. All of that is extra!!
