I will be going to Long Beach for tourism and would like to know how long does it take to go from "Long Beach" to "Hollywood"?
Are there buses or metros or train that I can use?

Hey everyone,
I am heading out to Vegas next weekend and I cashed in my credit card reward points to stay at the Palace Station Hotel. (I didn't have enough points for higher end places) Has anyone ever stayed there before? What kind we find near there? I know that there is a shuttle...where does it drop you off? What is within walking distance from the shuttle drop-off?

I'm looking for an unique hotel that I've never been at before in Miami. For example, the Mayfair in the grove has private Jacuzzis on a private patio outside of some of their rooms. Want to experience something different then the same hotel as every other. So if anyone has any hotels that different, unique, fun and romantic please let me know! Not a big fan of south beach, Miami area/Fort Lauderdale area is better for me.

Please don't tell me that there are predjicue people everywhere I know that. But what I am asking is how safe is it for interracail couple? What parts should we avoid? We live in a very cultural diverse area, and would like to keep doing so. Any imput would be helpful thanks.

My friends and their family were robbed while on vacation. They rented a house in a gated community at the Windsor Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Florida. The house was literally in plain view to the security office. The robbery occurred in broad daylight.
The thieves stole cash and a laptop. All of those things can be replaced. However, the real loss was all of the pictures of their 4 month old, which were on the laptop. They were told after the robbery that there had been another robbery the day before, just a few doors down.

Is there anything that they can do? The owner of the house doesn't have insurance that covers the renter's property. The Resort refuses to admit that there is asecurity issue. And my friends want to try to put it behind them, but it is difficult because they realize that all of those pictures are gone.
