Assuming you're of legal age to gamble, then "yes", gambling gets you drinks, which may make you gamble more, which might make you drink more, which may make you gamble more . . . see why the drinks are free? ;)

BTW, you don't have to order alcoholic drinks. Free soft drinks are available, too!

Also, contrary to the above answers, although it's nice to tip, there is no need to do so. The waiter/waitress' job is to serve; getting tips is a "fringe benefit", so to speak. Plenty of people don't tip and get served with a smile, albeit a begrudging one; and some people prefer to tip when they are done for the "day", as is the case with some high-rollers, who don't carry small change or bills (but, then again, they tend to be the worst tippers!).

Side story: I went to Vegas for a family gathering. During an "off" time, I sat at a slot machine and played for a while, noticing that a very attractive waitress wasn't being tipped by any of the mostly male gamblers (but, she sure was ogled by them!). Yet, she served them drink after drink with a very genuine smile! She eventually got around to me. I wasn't particularly thirsty, and hadn't signalled her or anything like that, but, just for the heck of it, I ordered a soft drink, but made in a very specific way. Within minutes, she brought it to me, and I tipped her a buck (hey, if I'm gambling away my alloted funds - - it's always best go with a preset gambling limit - - I think I can afford to give the staff a few bucks!). Well, gosh-darned, if she didn't beam a smile brighter than any spotlight I've ever seen! You'd think I had just proclaimed her Queen! With the smile still on her face, we chatted for about fifteen seconds, then she thanked me, and moved on (as far as I could tell, I was the only one she chatted with during the time I was there). The very next day, around the same time, I went to the same machine, and, at some point, I sensed someone nearby. I turned to see the same waitress, who had the same bigger-than-life, friendly smile! She asked if I wanted the same drink, exactly as I had requested it the previous day! Maybe the tip helped, or maybe I have one of "those" faces, but it was sure nice to be remembered, regardless! Feel free to make up your own moral to this story! ;)

once you're playing the drinks are loose, it does no longer be counted, table video games or slots. Tip the cocktail waitress $a million in line with drink. you gained't have an empty glass for lengthy. I choose the small to mid length casinos. The Orleans, significant street Station, Silverton & Fiesta. yet another position i want to play(video poker) is the events e book on the LV Hilton. The drink provider probable is faster in the course of the day, Monday by ability of Friday. in case you want you may sit down properly on the bar. The bartenders are chuffed to dole out loose drinks, make sure that you tip them to boot. attempt the Alligator bar on the Orleans. ~Jack~

The drinks are free if you're playing (includes alcohol and non-alcohol drinks). But be sure to tip your server or she may not come back. The servers also know when the machines last hit sometimes too, so that can be a valuable piece of info too. And if you were to win, you need to tip your server for that too. A 15-20% tip is what you should do too.

Yes the drinks are free and by the way the rooms are usually compted too if you gamble a bit. Great huh? Last February MGM paid for our room and room charges for 5 nights - we still have about $500 free play to spend so we are heading back again in January (Spa time for me - yippee!!!!)

Oh and YES Darlings you must always TIP your waitstaff! It's just RUDE if you don't. Have a blast!

Big money & all that!!!

Sure! As long as you are actively gambling and tip your waitress, its free. You just shouldn't request a certain type of vodka. Go with the well stuff.

If you stick to the strip hotels then for the most part yeah, some of the other casinos like Sams Town only offer it in certain areas.

drinks are free(if you are gambling), the service is not.

ALWAYS tip at least a dollar a drink... don't stiff them, or they wont come back when you need another drink... if they do, your next drink might have a lil extra somethin you dont wanna drink in there... lol

umm, no. you need to tip your waitress. a dollar is fine. if you're playing the slots, you def need to tip your waitress, otherwise she'll just skip you during her next round or avoid you as much as she can. she doesn't want to waste her time and energy on someone cheap. cocktail waitresses in nice casinos make a lot of money, they don't do it by people not tipping.

I know it is an old hotel but go sit at the penny machines at the Flamingo and try one of their Pina Coladas. Yum Yum! Tip your waitress well and she will keep coming back. :)
