I see there are several magic shows in Vegas. I am planning a bachelorette weekend there and that is one of the things we want to see. I am trying to find out which one is worth the money. Based on things I have read Lance Burton seems to put on a good show... does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a hard time paying for what I can get for free, and from the info I have been getting, it seems like a lot of the coupons can be obtained for free around the strip and downtown. Is this true? Is the POV a ripoff?

I'm in San Diego so need to fly somewhere. Problem is I do not want to take off work so I would need to leave Friday evening and come back Sunday.
Some ideas were either San Fran (although been there many times) or go to an amusement park somewhere...

I'm planning on moving to North Miami this summer for college to attend JWU. I'm wondering if a car is necessary? Is public transportation good in that area? In the dc are we have zipcar and flexcar(car sharing/rental) I'm just wondering if they are planning on expanding zipcar or flexcar down to miami?

I live here, and I think that this place is the pits. It's just so rude, arrogant, completely morally and soul devoid, and everyone says how it's great for money/schools etc, yet all of our cities suck, the people suck, the suburbs are overpopulated places, and everyone is in such a huge rush and people are usually phony, and Aholes.

I hate it here, and are there better places to live in the country other than here?

OR is this all just me, and New Jersey is in fact wonderful?

If this place is so great, then name me reasons why it is? I'm sure all the reasons that make it great, can also be found in other states as well.

Thanks!

I currently live in the NJ/NYC area, and it's pretty crappy.

I want to relocate but I"m not sure where to go. I do have the money and the resources, but I'm just not sure where because some people say that this is the place to be (which it really isnt, at least people wise. May be money wise)

I'm just sick of it here, and want to move and need ideas, there MUST be a better place out there than NJ/NYC.

Mom and I are going to NYC to shop. We like the markets and the department stores. Are there any other must-visit spots for holiday fun?

I walk past the Empire State Building twice a day on my way to and from work, and I'm wondering:

Who gets to choose what color the lights on top will be each evening? Is it the property management company, the head building engineer, or someone else? Anyone know?

I moved here from boring San Antonio and I love it here. It's amazing how two cities (San Antonio and Austin) 55 miles apart can be SOOOOO different.

I love it here.

I live in New England and I know this is a hypothetical question but one that I am entertaining because I am tired of long cold winters.

Has anyone been to Hawaii? What is the rate of inflation and the pay rates? Obviously they need people there to run the place like the hotels and every other non tourist job. Is it an idea that can come true or do you need to know people and have 10 roommates to buy milk which I heard costs 5 bucks a quart. What is the price of gas there? Thanks for everyone's response.

I am going to San Francisco next week and I want to go to the Warriors game. I know Oracle Arena is in SE Oakland, and from what I have read, I'm guessing that it's in the hood.

I have a feeling that they will charge me an arm and a leg to park in the arena parking lot. Is the surrounding area unsafe? Would it be a bad idea for me to park there?

You might see specific people playing music for money (in subways). Do they have to take permission from government or they just randomly sit and play the music? Since, government charges for everything that somehow benefits the person so do they have to pay any money per month to sit over there and play music (for money)?
