I have a hard time paying for what I can get for free, and from the info I have been getting, it seems like a lot of the coupons can be obtained for free around the strip and downtown. Is this true? Is the POV a ripoff?

There are so many coupons and coupon book around here for free it isn't worth paying for any. Ask at any hotel desk or concierge and they will give you what they have. There is usually a rack of coupons in the lobbies. Once you check in you will find in your room all kinds of free magazines and coupons. Sign up for gambling clubs (all are free) and you usually get some freebies. I suppose that POV will have coupons others don't but that booklet is meant for locals who can use it over time. A visitor doesn't have time to use a fraction of them.

The POV is an "extra" you receive when you join the LVA.

The FSE coupons are the best "free" coupons.

The ACG is the closest thing to the LVA's POV and you pay for it also, the ACG has nowhere near the value of the POV.

The info I receive from the LVA and the forums saves me many times the yearly membership fee.

I'll tell you what, if you join and don't like the POV, send it to me(unused) and I will refund your $37 lol >They have a limit I can only buy 2<

The $50 Palms coupon alone more than pays for your membership.

Checkout http://www.couponseek.net
There are many vendors offering coupons, discounts and promotions.

There is a coupon book:

I use it. Nowadays I don't eat out without it actually :-) Gives buy one get one free in restaurants and has other deals also. It gives me an opportunity to find out different restaurants which I otherwise would not ever know as well.
