Lots of cool places on 1604 between Stone Oak Pkwy and Gold Canyon Rd. Kind of an up and coming area. I still like the old standby, Crabby Jacks on 281 and LaTuna behind Blue Star across from the Pioneer Mills downtown...if you go to Hooligans, expect to smell like a cigarette when you get home.

Try inside the city limits.
Seriously, San Antonio is a working mans party town. Have a ball. The closer you get to the bases the more house broke the patrons are. You will have a ball, I can almost guarantee it...

You can always do the River Walk. The bars there are a little pricey though, but they are always going to be pretty lively.
