thats bullshit, hiphop did not originate from compton (this goes to the person that said that hiphop originated from there). Compton is a city in cali that has a very bad crime rate. There's a bunch of wannabes and idiots who think they are above the law.
i live in the bay area of california, it has some crime problems as well but not as bad as compton. Gangs is a very big issue in compton as well

I'm from Compton California, and it'a rough place! I mean a ***** can't get no play without hav'n to deal with some bitches babies. So I left and moved to Fairfield California, cause I love me a fat white woman like I love me some KFC with all the extras.

heh heh but seriously - it's a city located in southern LA county (technically a suburb of los angeles ) with about 100K people in it. voted 4th most dangerous city in america in 2006 because of extreme gang problems.

It can be a bad place. Friedn at work was from there. She told me some real scary Sh** happens in that town.

it is the most dangerous place on the planet(or so they say). plenty of gang members from CPT, LBC, and Watts to keep you busy in case you want to visit.
