Best fall foliage in Illinois? I am wanting to take photographs?

I know Galena is beautiful. Would Starved Rock be a good place? I live smack in the middle of IL.

check the state park or national forrest near you, then you can find some nice places, check the photo and map

The Meeting of the Great Rivers Road (which I live on) goes from Alton up to Hardin. Here where the Mississippi River meets the Illinois River is the most beautiful place in the state this time of year. Pere Marquette State park and the beautiful bluffs along the rivers.
