My son is in Iraq and I need to get his truck from San Diego to Northern VA. Maybe a reliable college student looking to come home for the holidays. I don't have much $ to pay a company to ship it out here. Any suggestions?

I actually live in Las Vegas and the Strip is very um.... cheesy. This place is very polluted and has crappy schools and the people drive way over the speed limit. For instance, I was on the freeway where the speed limit is 65 MPH everyone was going like 80-110!!!! I really don't like this place!!!

So I'm planning to go to Times Square for New Years for 3 days and I decided the best way to avoid so much trouble I should just stay in a hotel in Newark, NJ or somewhere around there because it's cheaper. So my question is, how will I get Times Square? Train? Cab? Bus? I dont know!! What trains do I take? How much do they cost?

Btw, I'm from Delaware so Newark is only like 2 hrs away.

I plan on going to a Travel Agency if I don't work everything out on my own but I thought I'd get some humble advice from the Yahoo community!

Thanks in advance!

Me and my boyfriend wants to move to washington d.c. or chicago. We want to buy a house in which ever state we choose. I just finished my courses as a medical assitant and he has years of experience in Retail. Which state has the most job opprtunities for medical assistant? Chicago or Seattle, Wa? What is the salary for medical assistants in both states? Will my boyfriend have a hard time finding a job in retail in any of the two states mentioned? What is the cost of living in those 2 states? How is it in the 2 states? Is it fun for young couples or geared more towards the family life? Do you think we should move there? We are looking to move there in about 4 or 5 years. Thanks

I ask this because I live in LA without a car, and I am thinking of going to a club in Hollywood, then taking the bus back and walking through the Macarthur Park/downtown area along Wilshire, because that's where I will crash after the club. However, I will go alone. I have my doubts about safety that time of night there.

I am moving to America from Germany next year and I am very excited. I visited there for one year as student and love everything about America! Everything is big and there is much more opportunity to get job and make much money. It is unbelievable how much cheaper things are in America. Petrol costs $2.58 USD per gallon but here in Germany it costs roundabout $7.18 USD per gallon! Also milk costs $2.99 USD per gallon in America but $5.60 USD per gallon here! I found one computer of the same model everything the same here in Germany it cost $2 200 USD but in America only $1 050 USD and a full DVD sound system from BOSE cost $3 480 USD in Germany and only $1 199 USD! That is no mistake. Hello? And people are more happy in America and friendly! Everyone in stores say sorry when we have accident but not in Germany. Naja. So why is this so? Why does everything cost so much more here in Europa. France it is even worser. Before I came to America I only heard how good it is but now I know!

I need to know what kinds of jobs I can advertise for where I can recieve strictly cash upfront, no checks or money orders. I need to find work where I'm off the payroll so I don't have that kind of stress. Answer in length with details if you have knowledge of the subject. Also, the legal rights, such as would I absolutely have to have a business license? If you have any knowledge of that. I'm speaking mainly labor jobs or errands.

I am planning a cross country RV vacation next summer. We are from the Los Angeles area and planning to go all the way to Quebec. We have about a month long to do this, a max of 40 days. Any idea is appreciated. We can not be at high altitudes for a long time due to one of us having a medical condition, but are OK to drive through. We are OK up to 3500 or 4000 feet.
Thank you very much

I just excepted a job in San Antonio. The business is off 1604 and Nacogdoches Road, zip is 78247. Haven't been there to look at homes, but was wondering if anyone knows of any newer areas, with single family homes, new shopping, restruants and so forth. I would do any commute up to about 30-45 minutes. Thanks for your help!
