FEB. its usually the coldest month in NYC
and Jan, snows the most in NYC
but lately it dont snow as much as it use too
too much pollution in NYC

Yeah, if anything (with the weather we've been having the last couple of years), we still might not even had our first big snow storm by then.
For the most part, during a "normal" year you can expect to see a few inches of snow on the ground. Temperatures can range greatly, but expect it to be in the upper 30s and low 40s during the day (upper 20s at night).

Its cold. NY weather changes in a heart beat and is at time unpredictable. Plan to dress warm for January and February.

NY is a really big state, and New York City is a pretty big place. The weather in the boroughs touching the ocean is different then the weather further inland. For the most part, NYC is cold, windy, and snowy in January / early February.

There will be snow, cold temperatures and it will be windy. NYC is right off the Atlantic and the winds come right off the sea and chill you to the bone. Sometimes it rains
Bring water tight shoes, a warm jacket, a hat, gloves and a scarf.
