Our most famous attraction is the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. It's kind of a museum/zoo. It's a cool place to go, it's mostly outside and you can see lots of animals that live here in the desert. They have a Raptor free flight demonstration twice a day. ( owls, ravens and hawks doing a show ). Mt Lemmon is a very scenic drive up the Catalina Mnts. Lots of places to take beautiful pictures. It will probably be cold up there in winter. You might even see some snow, there is a ski resort up there. Nogalas Mexico is only an hour or so away, you can drive down there, walk over the border without a passport and go shopping. There is also tons of shopping here. 4th ave down by the University has alot of funky shops and restaurants and bars. It's fun to hang out there. There is so much to do and see, I can't name them all. When you get here, get an attractions booklet from the airport or hotels have them too and check it out. Hope you have a good time, the weather should be nice for you.

Make sure you visit Old Tucson. It's a working movie studio attraction just outside the city...there has been more western movies made there than you can think of...the last one I know of was Tombstone. You can check it out at www.oldtucson.com , we go there every time we're in the area, and still enjoy it each time.
